First part of my first story. How can life change after stealing a few potatoes? Find Out!
Please tell me if I have the right rating for this story

"I sentence you two to death!" King Arnold exclaimed.  David looked over to Jasmine, his fiancé for just over a month now, with horror in his eyes.
"But you majesty," Jasmine pleaded, "all we did was take a few potatoes from the vegetable stand because there has been no game recently."
"I'm sure you would of done the exact same thing if you were in our position." David quickly added.  King Arnold let out a chuckle,
"First of all, I can hand out any punishment that I see fit, and second of all, unlike you worms, I don't ever have to worry about food.  Now enough of this talk," King Arnold turns his attention to the four knights that brought Jasmine and David to him, "take these two to the dungeon, and have them ready to be executed by dawn tomorrow."
"Yes your majesty." The four knights surround the two new prisoners, two in front, and two behind, and escort them both out of the throne room, and down to the deepest levels of the dungeon.  The knights finally stopped walking after what seemed like hours and literally throw David and Jasmine into a cramped, dusty cell, occupied by a pile of bones, "These must be the remains of the past occupants," David pointed out, "Well at least we have company."
"That's not funny David." Jasmine grunted.
"Whattt....I'm just trying to lighten the mood a little."
"David, instead of trying to lighten the mood, can you please try to find a way to get us out of here?"
"Fine, fine" David searches through his pockets. "Got it!"
Jasmine gives him a confused look, "And what exactly did you find?" David slowly took his hand out of his pocket revealing a small, handmade pick-lock,
"Never know when one of these may come in handy." David quickly began working on the cell's old, rust-covered.  They both hear a small sound thinking that David was successful, instead of opening the lock, David found that he had broken his pick-lock in the keyhole. "Damn-it I thought that would work" David said hitting the cell door in frustration which, out of sheer luck, opened the cell door. "Um........I meant for that to happen."  Jasmine smiled and kissed David as she walked past him,
"Sure you did honey, sure you did."
'Damn....All this for a couple of potatoes.....and they didn't even taste that good in the first place,' *sigh* "oh well...."
David opened the cell door more (ha, it rhymes) as quietly as he could and looked outside for any indication that they have been noticed and found none. Suddenly the sound of two guards coming down the north hallway could be heard coming their way, and to make matters worse one guard was slowly making his way towards David from behind.  Knowing that he was outmatched (because the guards would easily be able to see him in the lighted hallway) David silently went back into the cell closing the cell door behind him and praying to God that none of the guards notice that that cell door has been unlocked.  The three guards met up in front of the cell, glanced at the two prisoners, then continued their rounds.  "Wow, that was a little too close for comfort," Jasmine whispered, beads of sweat dripping of her neck.  David stood back up and walked out of the cell, this time with more caution.
"Okay, the coast is clear."  David whispered over to Jasmine, who follows David out of the cell.
"Okayyy so now what?" Jasmine said taunting David.
"I'm thinking, I'm thinking."  David looks around for a weapon of some sort when his eyes settle on a kitchen knife that is stabbed halfway through a wooden table with chairs made of stone.  He picks up the knife and takes a few practice swings.  "I guess this will do......even though it doesn't help much," (even less so because of the blade's length of 4" where the shortest dagger's blade was 6" at the time) "this means I'm gunna have to surprise the guards if I ever hope to kill them." David started walking up the northern hallway and motioned for Jasmine to follow.  After walking through the northern hall for 5 minutes David saw a bright light up ahead, he turned towards Jasmine and whispered, "Look its an exit." They both came up to the exit but froze when they heard the heavy clanking of armor against brick coming from right behind Jasmine.
"Well, well" The unknown man said. "why are you two out of your cage?"  The man was covered head to toe with iron armor with a great sword that looked like it could easily exceed five feet.
          "Um......well you see......"  David began.
"You do know I don't really care why you are out, right?" The knight replied, half-angry that the prisoner was even thinking about lying to him.
"Then why did you?" Just then yells of panic (I don't know if that's how I should describe it) could be heard coming from outside, behind David.  David turned around hoping to find the source of the noise when the knight suddenly swung his sword,  David came to his senses just in time to block the attack with his newly acquired knife.  He was somehow able to get the knight's giant great sword off of him long enough to slash at the knight's neck, the knight brought the hilt of his sword up just in time to parry David's knife. The knight then swings his sword at David's legs, hoping to cut them both off,  David jumps in the air and kicks the knight square in the chest, the only thing this accomplishes is getting himself put on his back and in a daze. The knight sees his chance and stabs David through the heart.  He then sets his sights on the dead man's fiancé, Jasmine, who, at this point, is stunned by the death of the only man she had ever loved.  The knight pulls his sword back, getting ready to sever Jasmine's head from her body, at that moment, a throwing knife finds itself piercing the knight's helmet, embedding itself in the left side of the knight's skull, killing him instantly.  Jasmine snapped out of her trance shortly after her would-be-killer died in front of her very eyes.  She used this chance to go through the exit, past David's cold, lifeless body.
Immediately after stepping outside Jasmine could smell blood, she looks around and saw seven men on the floor, each man lying in a pool of their own blood.  She took several steps closer and noticed something similar about the seven men outside and the one deceased man whose body was let inside the dungeon wall, all eight of the men were killed with the same style of weapon, meaning that this was the work of one or two very skilled individuals.
An unknown voice suddenly spoke "Do you like my work?"  Instead of answering the man she began to look around, trying to find the source of the voice.  She grew agitated when she could not find the source. "Look up"  The voice said.  Jasmine's eyes started to slowly look up until she saw an outline of a man since he was standing directly infront of the Sun.  The man jumped down and Jasmine saw that he was an athletic man dressed in white gloves and boots that matched his leather chest armor, with steel vambraces (or braces) that appeared to be polished to perfection, but the most interesting thing about this man was his white hood that shielded his face, effectively hiding it from Jasmine's view, the hood had a single red talon going down the right side of the hood that curved into where his right eye would be. (heres what the design on the hood looks like if you are interested http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/50/m_2ff87514ee804c35ac7045d4177a892...)
