A short poem about a butterfly.
I Saw a Butterfly

A butterfly flew over my head

brightly patterned black, brown and red,

she passed by me with perfect grace

and lightly touched my grateful face.

Autumn's here and apples fall,

she suddenly heard Karma's call,

brightly patterned black, brown and red

my newfound friend then fell down dead.

A bird swooped down and carried away

the butterfly that died today,

brightly patterned black, brown and red

on to the next life, go ahead.
