I remember where I was
Do you ?
I wasn't that old
I didn't understand
I was in school that day.
where were you ?

Our teacher, she walked into the room
and she told us what had happened.
She looked stunned and confused
at first we all were

We didn't understand

I still don't understand

She turned on the computer and
we watched until the screen went black

The buses were called and we were sent home early

For me ,there was no one there waiting.
I didn't understand

I still dont understand.

I'm not angry at them,

I wouldn't seek revenge.

But we can't let this happen again
Not here or anywhere else.

If that means war then so be it.
I will fight alongside my countrymen.

I had hoped that we would see this to the end

But others forget.
Or I hope that is why they hesitate.

I couldn't help then
But I can now.

I can help.

But I still don't understand.

Tomorrow is that day,
A day to remember.

Those who were brave
Those who could help.

Those who died.

Don't forget them,
Don't leave what they stood for.

Remember that day with our banner.
Forever and now, never forget.

Never give up.

Because they didn't.

So you can't.

Remember September.
