This is a poem about setting yourself free
Today I look back and can't help wonder,
what made me wear the wishful lens.
I saw the blacksmith who'd break my shackles,
in the person who can't break little barriers, himself.

But all is well, I have rescued myself,
no longer feeling the need to fall in line.
I have broken free and am looking up high,
waiting to take the flight of a lifetime.

But as I'll soar I know I'll wish,
to see you fly with me my friend.
Cause I know if you can break your shackles,
you will fly farther than the horizon's end.
