Sonnet about lifes regrets, and realizing your faults too late.
Alone she sat on her old rocking chair
The cold wind blew increasing in its sound
Around her flew, so thin, so white, her hair
Yet her beauty was one that could astound

Alone she sat so brittle and so thin
The chair beneath slowly rocked back and forth
She reflected on all of her past sins
And noted where she could have changed her course

Yet it's too late and she does understand
The secrets of the promised land are true
And heavens for only the good of man
She only wished that she had thought this through

Now left alone she has not long to wait
To meet her judgement at the pearly gates.
