An acrostic poem that is taken from the mother's {grandmother}viewpoint.
A celebration in soft blue pastel

Because my baby is having a baby.
Above the mantle, hangs the
Burgundy picture frame she made
Years ago, seems like yesterday.

She sits on the couch and moans,
Holding her protruding stomach.
Overwhelmed and anxious, I
Wander to the washroom to
Expel these emotions that have engulfed me with the
Realization that I am about to be a Grandmother.
