never say no to your mom
One bright and early morning I was awaken by my mom. She said she wanted to take a trip to the market for a minute. So I jumped up grabbed my handy on the go toothbrush and headed out the door. After the five-minute drive we arrived at the grocery store. My mom asked me if I would push the basket and I told her I didn’t feel like it and she got angry. So as we entered the doors she didn’t hold the door for me and as I tried to catch the heavy swaying door my thumb got caught in it. I began to swear loudly as tears began racing down my face as though I was sweating. My mom rushed me to the hospital crying and pleading oh dear I am so sorry I should’ve held the door for you. I said mom its okay. When we got to the hospital the doctor did an x-ray and nothing was wrong. They gave me a bag of ice and told me to soak it for a while and it will be just fine. A short trip to the grocery store turned out to be my worse nightmare. As I awoke from my dream I was all sweaty and sworn I would push the basket every time we went to the grocery store.
