A poem from my cousin to my mother who took care of him all his life...
To a woman who's love knows NO bounds,
You are worth more to me than any other I've ever found.
Your love was unconditional and true,
You helped heal my heart, if only you knew.
My life on earth was troubled, I'm sure that you could see,
You saw only a STRONG man and you found him in me.
I had given up, more times than you had known,
You knew my pain and healed it, even the pain I had'nt shown.
A MOTHER, it is true, you were one to me,
But A MOTHER does not compare to what you meant to me.
My GUARDIAN ANGEL, you watched over me everyday,
You did so much for me, much more than I could ever say.
I love you GooGee, I wish I could ease your pain,
Just know that the tears that you've cried were not shed in vain.
I was there with you, I felt your pain and wiped your tears,
Whenever you feel alone, just know that I am here.
It is MY TURN, to repay the love that you have shown to me,
I am now an angel and YOUR GUARDIAN I will now be.
Just know that my pain is gone and I am free from all bonds,
This feeling of freedom, I wish I could share with you, my mom.
So GooGee, the next time you start to cry for me,
PLEASE, save your tears, I am with God and I am now free.
