A man joins the Saints gang and takes over the city of Compton.
“RESURECTION, THE STORY OF THE SAINTS

What do you do when you’re in the middle of a gang ridden city? One where your brother lost his life while trying to clear the city of the rival gangs. Do you fight? Or do you stand back and watch everything unfold? Well, one night, I made my decision. As I was walking down the street, I saw a rival gang known simply as “The Compton City Kingz” spray painting over another rival gangs original paint. I shrugged it off as if it were nothing, because at that point in time, it was nothing, but that quickly changed for me. As the Kingz gang started re-spraying the wall, some of the members of the rival gang known as “the Bombers” noticed them re-spraying their paint. The Bombers confronted the Kingz and asked them “what the hell do they think they thought they were doing?”
The Kingz responded by stating that “some essay bitch messed up this wall with their crap paint.”
This angered the Bombers as they attacked the Kingz. The Kingz fought back, however, by using the spray paint and spraying it in of the Kingz eyes, and preceding to shoot him point blank in the chest. As this was happening the third rival gang in the city (known simply as the Ballas) pulled up to them and said “Carlos (the leader of the gang) says “Descance en Paz” (Spanish for “Rest in Peace.”)
As this was happening I watched on in amazement as the Ballas pulled a drive-by on the two rival gangs, but the Kingz and Bombers fought back, as a member of the Bombers shot a member of the Ballas in the face with a pistol, killing him instantly, before being shot to death himself, a member of the Kingz pulled out a 12 gauge shotgun and shot the driver of the car, and watched as it crashed into a wall and burst into flames, as the car hit the wall, the explosion knocked Me off of my feet, and just as I was about to move and get up, the only surviving member of the turf war pulled out a pistol and said “Sorry, wrong place at the wrong time” just as I closed my eyes. I heard a gunshot, and as I opened them, two men by the name of Lee and Manny approached me. Lee quickly and said “It’s a shame when you cant even walk the streets without the fear of being killed, but besides that point, hi, my names Leroy, but my friends call me “Lee” and this is Manny, you can thank him for saving you later.”
Then Manny said “C’mon Lee, we gotta get outta here before more of them come.”
“Hold on” Lee replied, “Hey kid, I knew your brother “Smoke”, hell of a man, but how would you like to do what your brother did and join up with the Saints?”
“This is no time to start recruiting” Manny snapped.
“Yea well we need all the help we can get if we wanna wipe these punks off the streets”, Lee said
“Wait, wait, wait” I replied, “So you run the Saints?,” I asked.
“Yes I do, son” replied Lee, “And we need all the help we can get, so, if your interested, come to the old church, and we’ll get you started from there.”
So I did what he wanted and followed in my brother’s footsteps, as I went to the old church, and met up with the Saints of Compton. By the way, my names Carl Little, but my friends call me “House.”
As I arrived at the chruch, Lee was giving a speech about how Compton was ours for the taking, and how we just needed to make the Saints name mean something again. So as Lee finished off his speech, Peirce asked Lee “Who’s this fool?”
Lee replies “this is my freind”, Manny and I just saved him from getting smoked, and we asked him to join the Saints.”
Peirce quickly responds “Well he has to pass initaion first”
to which Manny says “Yea thats true, Lee, everybody had to do it”
Lee gets five members of the Saints to fight Me one round at a time, and if I can defeat all five men, he’s in. So I warmed up and beat all five members.
to which Manny replies “You earned your colors today, welcome to the Saints” and as he says this Lee gave me a purple chain.
“What’s this for?” I asked.
Lee replied “It’s the mark of the Saints, wear it with pride.” Manny quickly asks Lee if he can take me on a drive by to eliminate rival gang members off the turf known as “Saints Row.”
Lee responds by saying “Yea, sure just get him a glock first, and take out those fools.”
So Manny and I pull drive-by’s all over Saints Row, eliminating every person who didnt belong or wasn’t wearing purple. (Saints colors) As we returned to the Church, Lee held another meeting. As Manny and I arrived, Lee started “Ok, good, now that everybodies here, we can start. We’re going to ice every last person reppin’ the Kingz, Bombers, or Ballas in this city. All of our Lieutenants, Manny, Pierce and…” Lee stopped. “It seems we dont have a third lieutenant.”
And Manny asked “Well then, what the hell are going to do about it?” Lee then named his third lieutenant. As he named him, everybody looked around because that was an unfamiliar name. I was named the third lieutenant of the Saints. Haha, I couldn’t believe it, two nights ago I was gunned down and almost killed, now I’m the lieutenant of a gang! Lee named the responcibilities of being a lieutenant and then assigned all three lieutenants a gang to infiltrate and destroy, so that Compton would be Saints territory. Manny was assigned the Ballas, Pierce was assigned to watch the Bombers, and I was assigned to watch the Kingz
to which I happily exclamied “Gladly, after what happened to me, I’ll be glad to ice these fools for the Saints.”
As you could imgine, I was eager to prove myself to the Saints, being the new guy and all. At first, I think people looked down upon me compared to Manny and Peirce, and me being some kid that Lee saved from the rest of the gangs. Overtime, Peirce became less of an asshole and more of a friend, Peirce became my best friend and mentor. Every lieutenant had their own gang, and I was assigned the Kingz, their name says it all, they’re the Kingz of Compton. And me, me all of all lieutenants was assigned them. I was the new kid and it gave me some confidence that Lee was so trusting of me. Surprisingly, the Saints made very quick work of the Ballas and Bombers. We blew up the Ballas base with C-4 and shot the Bombers leader in his mouth with a 9mm pistol, blowing his brains all over Lee’s Pursian rug, which really pissed him off, but he was happy the Bombers were taken care of. Next up was me. Manny and Peirce already solidified their roles as lieutenants by taking out their assigned gangs, and lastly was me…
Lastly were the Kingz, a group of Latino gangsters backed by the largest drug cartel in the world, the Colombians. I was scared as you can bet, because this was my job, and if I failed, I would be out or dead. We found out all we could about the Kingz, they had money, power, respect, things that we wanted, and theres an old expression: “If you have something I want, and I don’t get it, I’ll fight to the death until I succeed.” The Kingz knew we were a force, because we single handedly took out the Ballas and the Bombers. Their leader was probably the smartest man I have ever seen. Ryan H. Williams was his name, and he may have been a genius, but he knew how to handle himself. He seemed like the brittle nerdy type, but he was actually very strong and knew how to correctly hold a gun. When we infiltrated the Kingz base, we realized we had been set up. The Kingz were here, but only three of them, and the three were already dead or severely wounded. We were confused. This was the Kingz base, but they weren’t here. All of our intel was wrong. Then the biggest battle in my life happened. We were about to leave, but then the Kingz appeared and started firing at their own base. We dove behind everything we could find, but that didn’t last to long. The walls were coming down, and the base was lighting up. Once Williams thought we were dead, he told the Kingz to hold their fire while he came in to check on us. He walked into the base, and Lee hurried up and shot him in his ankle, toppling him over. This angered Williams, and he started firing his pistol, and somehow, he hit Manny repeatetly. Lee noticed this and took note, but did nothing. As Williams tried to crawl away, Lee ran up to him and stomped on his wrist, shattering it. As this was happening, I ran over to check on Manny, but it looked as though he would make it through. As Lee and Williams were fighting on the floor, Williams got the best of Lee, and fired at him. Lee fell over, but was still alive. Williams got up and limped, but he fired two more shots and hit me and manny, and manny cried out in pain. Williams laughed, as he was stood over Lee, he fired one more shot, but in the blink of an eye, Manny sprung up and took the shot for Lee. Manny collapsed. This enraged Lee, so he got up and fired at Williams three times, hitting him in head all three times killing him. Lee was upset. It was his fault that Manny passed away. Lee was enraged. He ran outside and fired all around on the unsespecting Kingz. He killed many before they even realized he was there. I ran out and helped Lee clear them out. After we had killed Williams and wiped out the Kingz, we drove back to Saints Row, with Manny’s body wrapped up and in the trunk. As we arrived back at Saints Row, we buried in the cemetary. Lee said few words, and we drove back to the base to discuss what had happened. As we were driving back, I realized I didn’t want this. After we have a proper funeral for Manny and we had him buried, I was going to drop my flags.
