So close to death.
Will is an ember that kindles inside of the subconscience like a predators' instict to kill. It is there, carved deep with a blade into our genetics. It is there, waiting dormant for near fatilty to to gently rest his cold, dead hands upon our faces. It is there, when nothing else is. It is the driving force of living, It is something that every human being is born with.

The test of your drive is first shown when your being born; when your exiting the comfort of your mother's womb, when you are left exposed to a world of light when all you had once known was the dark. it is here that your will grips his rough hands around your neck, telling you to strive into another day when all you want to do is return to the solace of that cowardly fetal position you had known so well. It it then that the voice of this thing screams in your ear! You are born with this! If you can face life, you can face death, because death is nothing compared to the face of the living.

Is it a defect? An abnormality? The people that take themselves out, were they born without it? Or did they lose it somewhere along the way? How could they want to die, when there is nothing really wrong? Will is supposed to protect them! Did he abandon them?! Did he leave them to fend for themselves?! How could he do that? Or was it not that latter? Was it the one prior? Can people really be born with the want to live?

There have been times, when all hope has beein drained out of the system. there have been times, when things seemed but only gray and grim. The people of these times, they had nothing, they couldn't even retain the fragments of thier sanity. There have been times, when it would have been easier to give up. But in these times, the people push hader on into the next day; even though they know that there is nothing but pain and strife waiting for them; even though they know that they could very easily become smothered beneath the (wanted) weight of dirt. But no, they choose to go on. They choose to test thier limits. They choose, to live.
