“Jin, I need to talk to you.” Yamapi faces Jin that evening.

“What is it?” Jin asks as he shuffles around the counter to prepare his customers orders.

Yamapi loses patience, his heart isn’t calm yet from the news he heard earlier and Jin’s nonchalance attitude is making him frustrated.

“This is important! Let’s go to the private room!” Yamapi orders. Jin frowns but he follows Yamapi nonetheless after signaling to one of the workers to replace him at the counter.

“I can’t believe you could lie to me!” Yamapi bursts out.

“What did I do?” Jin is confused.

“You lied to me about your job! You hide behind that pitiful life of yours, but the truth is you’re a ruthless assassin! You’ve killed a lot of people!” Yamapi is hysteric.

Jin gapes; he never expected that Tomohisa would find out about that part of his life. He looks into Tomohisa’s eyes. Besides anger, the clearest emotion shown is betrayal.

“How was I supposed to tell you something like that? ‘Tomohisa, I am an assassin I am hired to kill people’. Is that how I’m supposed to tell you?” Jin sits down and palms his face.

“I can’t believe you! I just don’t know who you are anymore!”

“Shouldn’t you be more understanding?”

“I want to be understanding, but I just can’t fucking understand! I’m a cop! How do you want me to be understanding?!”

Jin fists his hands and stands, “Twelve years, Tomohisa, I can’t blame you if I am not like you think I was in your old memories.” Jin walks out of the room. Tomohisa’s anger is slicing Jin’s heart and he can’t face the betrayal look in Tomohisa’s eyes.

Ryo watches as Yamapi emptied another can of beer into his mouth in a few gulps. From the time he has known Yamapi, this is the first time Ryo has seen Yamapi drinking so much. Ryo is curious as to what has made Yamapi seems so heartbroken.

“What happened to you? Is something bothering you? Is it Jin?”

Yamapi grips the can tightly. “Don’t you dare say that name again! He’s a fucking liar! He lied to me! How could he lie to me! I’m his best friend!”

Yamapi’s body is shook with anger.

Day 1

“Pi…what you said about Jin last night…is it true?” Ryo asks that morning. Ryo was shocked with the revelation, but he knew Jin and there must be a reason for that.

Yamapi frowns as he tries to fight the dizziness while thinking what he said about Jin and realizes he might have blurted out everything to Ryo. Yamapi nods faintly.

“When he was 14, his family moved to Tokyo but a few weeks after that, they were murdered in a robbery. He had no one and lived in the streets before someone took him in…” Ryo says in a soft tone. “During our school years, at first he was liked by everyone, but he liked to be alone. It was like he hated the world.”

Ryo’s words were like a shooting arrow to Yamapi’s brain triggering something at the back of his mind.

‘I used to hate the world.’

‘For me who lost my parents and brother because of those people and justice had done nothing to avenge them for me, I can’t settle with that…’

‘I just wanted to know how it felt when you love someone.’

‘…maybe because no one really ever taught me how to love someone.’

“When he was raped by our seniors, he must have hated the world so much and he probably hated himself too.”

Yamapi gapes at Ryo. ‘Was the thing that Jin mentioned about his seniors bullying him was the rape and it was Ryo who saved him at that time?’

“I wonder during those times of his life, who was there in his life. Even though I am his friend, he never opened up that much too me. He probably didn’t have anyone and the hatred just builds up inside his heart…” Ryo looks at Yamapi and sees regret on the other’s face.

Yamapi’s chest tightens. He should be more understanding he scolded himself. ‘I can’t blame you if I am not like you think I was in your old memories.’

-

“The target is Nishikido Ryo?” Ueda and Nakamaru both are shocked when Taguchi told them who the target Jin supposedly has to kill. Now they understand why Jin couldn’t complete his task.

“Yup, I heard Kame tell the boss that Nishikido is Akanishi’s friend.” Taguchi tells them.

“This will be bad. The last time the boy from Kisumai screwed up his task Koki made him shot his own hand off. I don’t want to think what Koki will make Jin do.” Nakamaru says.

“Yeah,” Ueda agrees.

“What should we do?” Nakamaru asks.

“We need to help Jin,” Ueda says.

“Koki and Kame will kill us too,” Taguchi rationalizes in case his friends don’t get that important point.

After Koki took over the organization, everything isn’t like before, where they only took the requests to kill bad people, like bad politicians who misuse the power against law, or criminals that had the tie with certain individuals that gave them invincibility against law. Now the boss takes every deal that can give him some profit.

“I don’t care, even if I have to kill Koki, I’ll help Jin!” Ueda is determined.

Nakamaru agrees, “Me too. But what should we do?”

Ueda seems to ponder over the question, thinking how they can help Jin.

Taguchi observes the two friends, although he came into the organization only after Koki has took over the organization but after knowing Ueda and Nakamaru, he knows how much they care about Jin, and how they dislike Koki’s management.

“Actually, I have something to offer to both of you…” Taguchi says earning both of their attention.

-

Yamapi recognized Nakamaru and Taguchi as customers at the bar, but when they came to meet him with the big secret, he had no choice but to believe they’re assassins. If he hadn’t knew about the truth, he didn’t know how he will react to them saying that Jin will kill Ryo.

“But he defied the boss and we are afraid that the boss will forced Akanishi to kill him,” Taguchi says with a little concern of Yamapi’s reaction as the officer hasn’t said anything to their revelation yet.

“We know Akanishi changed a lot after meeting you. We don’t know how close you guys are, but the way Akanishi views life has changed…” Nakamaru supplies which makes Yamapi’s heart break a little, but now isn’t the time to feel emotional. They need to think and arrange something to save Ryo’s life. Jin must be hurting because Yamapi has betrayed Jin once already and he needs to do something in lieu of redemption to his betrayal.

Yamapi takes a deep breath as he decides what he should do. “We’ll have our officers protect Nishikido…”

“How about if the police infiltrate the organization? We can help the police get in. It’ll be safer that way as you can catch them without risking Nishikido’s life,” Taguchi suggests.

Yamapi thinks for a quick second, “That’s actually a good solution…”

“We’ll observe the situation and inform you the time for you to infiltrate soon,” Taguchi quickly concludes and drags Nakamaru away with him when he sees a few Kisumai boys step into the bar, as it’ll end up in a nasty way if they ever see them talking to a police officer.

Yamapi looks around the bar after the two men leave, but he doesn’t see Jin anywhere and it makes him sad knowing that Jin is probably avoiding him. Yamapi leaves the bar and heads to the police station to inform his team about the new progress and discuss the plan with them.

Yamapi meets Ryo later that night to tell him about him being a target of assassination.

“Are you serious?” Ryo asks with astonishment at the thing that Yamapi told him.

“Of course I’m serious. I won’t be joking about this serious matter of life and death. And it’s your life we’re talking about!” Yamapi rolls his eyes.

“I know, but I can’t help but feel somehow a thrill down my spine.” Ryo grins. Certainly he is afraid of death but to know that fact is a different thing.

“Ryo-chan, it’s not a small matter!” Yamapi is frustrated. Ryo’s life is important, Jin is important too. Jin is struggling for his humanity; he has to help him to stay strong on the new path Jin’s trying to walk on.

-

Jin thought hard. There’s no time to be troubled by the issue with Tomohisa right now. The most important thing is to make the boss believe he has done his job.

“Jin, what are you doing here?” Ryo asks a little surprised to find Jin standing in front of his house when he came back from work late that night.

Jin was leaning against the door while smoking a cigarette and seeming like he’s in deep thought when he heard Ryo’s voice. He turned only to see Tomohisa is walking behind Ryo and seems shocked to see him.

“What? I can’t come to see my friend?” Jin responds trying to act casual amidst the awkwardness. He shouldn’t feel that way because Tomohisa is the one who turned his back on him but he did because no matter what Tomohisa is his friend and the fact he lied to Tomohisa would never change.

To say Tomohisa wasn’t shocked was an understatement, but seeing Jin in front of them its risen his consciousness instantly that Ryo’s life is in danger. A part of him wants to believe Jin would never hurt his friend, but his heart can’t rest assure just by that belief when in reality Jin has taken a lot of lives with his hands. Instinctively he reaches his waist to find his gun.

“Of course not. But you could let me know before coming.” Ryo flashes a wide grin as he playfully punches Jin’s shoulder. “Come on in.”

Jin halts Ryo as he presses the code numbers to open the door. “I’ve got to go.”

“What’s this? You came here and now you just want to go.” Ryo protests but he definitely senses the slight awkward atmosphere between his two friends. “Do you guys have a fight or something?” he pokes.

“No such thing.” But Jin’s tense expression the split second before he answers the question says differently. Besides, Jin wouldn’t even meet Tomohisa’s eyes as he speaks.

Jin only meets Tomohisa’s eyes as he walks away. When he saw Tomohisa reached for his gun, Jin’s heart hurt and as he walked away he decided. His heart has died for more than 10 years, but now he feels so hurt. He doesn’t want to feel the pain so he would rather kill his own heart again.

-

Day 2

Jin struts into the hitman’s base heading straight to the weapons room passing a scowling Kame.

“What are you doing here?” Kame questions accusingly. Koki emerges from the shadows of the other room.

“Is your mission complete?” Koki orders an answer.

Jin coldly stares at Koki then at Kame with more disgust.

“He’ll be dead tomorrow.” Jin says as he grabs a suitcase from the weapons shelf and starts to head out.

“I hope so…you did say your proper goodbyes before you kill your friend right?” Kame mockingly yells out. Jin pauses at the door before turning to give Kame a death glare wishing that he could shot him too but he controls himself. Before being out of Koki and Kame’s sight Jin utters out, “Like I said…he’ll be dead tomorrow.”

“I don’t trust him…” Kame says to Koki as they watch Jin disappear behind the closed door. Koki smiles at Kame and gives him a sinister look.

“I don’t trust him either, that’s why we’re going to make sure he does his job properly. I’ll make him suffer!”

-

The next morning, Jin is in the lounging room getting his favorite rifle ready. When he’s doing his task, he likes to choose his gun depending on how he would want to end his target’s life. Most of the time, he loves to kill them by shooting straight at the head with his rifle, but in some cases he’s happy to use a sniper gun and shooting from on top of a building.

“You’re so cold!”

He looks up to hear Ueda’s comment.

“How could you even think of killing your own best friend?” Ueda slumps down on a sofa not far from Jin. Jin’s expression is cold but it is obvious he is trying to act unaffected by his remark.

“None of your business.”

“Ah, really? Then you could think for yourself how to save Nishikido and Yamashita.”

Jin’s heart beat nervously, “What do you mean?”

“It’s none of my business.”

The answer sends Jin over the edge. He lunges towards Ueda with the gun in his hand, he points at Ueda. “What do you mean to save Nishikido and Yamashita? How does Yamashita got anything to do with all this?!!”

“I thought you’ve decided to kill Nishikido and forget about Yamashita.” Ueda answers calmly. “Koki got to know that you’re close with the cop and he is investigating us. Koki ordered the Kisumai boys to capture both Nishikido and Yamashita.”

Jin’s grasp on Ueda’s collar loosens.

“Why are you telling me this?” there’s wariness in his voice.

Ueda grabs Jin’s arms and looks at him in the eyes. He takes a deep breath before he says, “For a lot of reasons. We grew up together. There are a lot of things we learned from each other and one of the things that I learned from you is we can make change with our own hands.”

“What do you mean?” Jin stares at Ueda.

“This organization needs change. I don’t like what he’s done with the organization. This isn’t what we were trained to do.” Ueda says with a determination. Ueda grabs Jin’s arms and looks at him in the eyes. “You need to trust me. To trust us, your friends. We’ll help you to save Yamashita and Nishikido. If the situation is not on your side anymore, shoot Koki. We’ll have your back.”

Jin isn’t sure if he should believe in Ueda, but a part of him wants to believe because he needs something as a hope that Tomohisa and Ryo will be alright and Ueda’s eyes flash with hope.

They hear footsteps approaching the room. Ueda becomes anxious; his grip around Jin’s arms tightens and when Jin finally nods, he releases his grip and walks out quickly.

“Ueda, what are you doing here?” Kame asks eyeing them suspiciously.

“Nothing, I just asked Akanishi why he is so stupid.” Ueda says with a small chuckle and walks pass the boss’s slut and a few Kisumai boys that are following him.

Kamenashi grimaces as he watches Ueda walk away. Deciding to forget about Ueda, he faces Jin.

Jin is staring daggers at Kame, because now he knows the situation is not in his favor, not now when he realizes he couldn’t ignore the feelings of love and care he has for his friends. Although once he thought, just maybe if he did kill Ryo, his heart would die again and he could endure the pain. But only to realize it was the stupidest thought he ever considered. If he did kill Ryo, he would feel the most painful pain and he would rather die than live with the guilt and pain.

Kamenashi steps towards Jin, and as he approaches closer, he runs his fingers along Jin’s jaw.

Jin flinches and instinctively pushes away Kame’s hand.

Kame’s eyes turn dark as he stares at Jin, “You’re so stubborn. If you want Yamashita to be saved, you should follow my words. I can guarantee Yamashita’s safety if you be my man.”

Jin remarks snidely, “Even seeing your face disgust me.” Jin walks out the room and heads straight to where he believes that Koki keeps Ryo and Tomohisa.

“Koki is waiting for you in the underground training room!” Kame shouts.

Jin rushes off towards the basement where the training room is located. When he walks into the room, he is expecting Koki would be there. Nakamaru is there too, but Ueda and Taguchi are nowhere in sight.

“Why are you doing this? I told you I’d kill him!” Jin barks as he confronts Koki.

“Well, well, well. Finally you’ve come to finish off your job.” Koki grins widely as Jin glares down at him. “Isn’t this more interesting? You don’t have to go and find him. I’ve brought him here. You can finish off your job now.” Koki pulls out his gun and points it at Jin. “Kill him. Or you’ll never walk out of this room alive!”

His life never feels this hard. Not when he had to strive alone living in the street after his parents’ death, not even when he had to pull the trigger and shot the gun straight to the head of his target. He never felt so difficult to make the choice in his life before. But when he has to choose to fire the rifle in his hands straight to his target’s chest or never walk out of the room alive, the cold sweats drip down his forehead, his heart is pounding erratically almost suffocating him, he couldn’t make the choice. He could never choose. If he knew he’d have to make the choice at some point in his life, he prefers to not knowing about love at all.

He is standing in the room facing Ryo who is tied up on a chair but Tomohisa isn’t in that room. His heart becomes more nervous as all the thoughts rushes into his mind. Koki must have held him in another place.

“Kill Nishikido, then I spare that cop’s life.” Koki says, but Jin knows better there’s no guarantee that Tomohisa will be saved and his most fear is Kamenashi will kill Tomohisa.

Jin considers his choice, if he shoots Koki, what are his chances to save Ryo after he fires his gun. There are also four of the Kisumai boys who are standing close to Ryo. If he fires his gun towards Koki he still needs to act fast enough to fire his guns towards the other guys after that and can he really trust what Ueda promised him and believes Nakamaru would back him up. Even with his perfect shooting skill, the risk is too high.

Meanwhile Kamenashi is arriving to a room on the second floor where Yamapi is held captive. Once he walks inside, he chuckles to see Yamapi is glaring at him.

Kame steps towards Yamapi who is tied up on a chair and grips his jaw hard, “Too bad, you’re too good looking to be killed.”

Yamapi struggles out of Kame’s grasp as he glares at Kame and it makes Kame chuckle in amusement. “I can spare your life… only if you promise you will never meet Jin again.”

“Are you that desperate to get Jin to be yours?” Ueda comes inside looking smug as he snidely remarks.

Kamenashi turns to face Ueda. “I knew you’re up to something when you met Akanishi just now. Do you think you can save him?” Kame grabs on Yamapi’s hairs and pulls them back hard. A gun is pointed at Yamapi’s head.

“What about you? Do you think you can save yourself?” Ueda smirks.

Kamenashi glances to his side where the Kisumai boys are, but to his horror one by one collapse onto the floor. His face turns pale to see that he is alone confronting Ueda.

“That must be Taguchi. He’s a good sniper,” the smirk remains on Ueda’s face as he sees how Kamenashi seems restless. However he needs to be careful, if he continuously pressures him, Yamapi’s life could be in danger. Ueda knows Kamenashi hates to lose and he could fire his gun in his desperation to escape the tension.

Ueda pulls his gun out and pulls the trigger.

“I don’t understand why do you want to betray our organization?” Kamenashi stays composed.

Ueda breaks into a hysteric laugh. “Why?” As if the question is funny to him, only the question reopens an old wound. “I wonder…you wouldn’t understand…the feeling of betrayal. You and Koki were the one who betrayed us first! You killed our friend. The betrayal…it still hurts even now!”

Ueda’s eyes are full of hatred. The worst nightmare happened two years ago, soon after Koki took over the leader position. It was a different story from Jin and Ryo, but it still ended up with one of his dear friends being killed by Koki and Kame. He had thought it was a mistake, they didn’t even know the man they killed was Ueda’s friend, but everything was revealed otherwise a few months ago, at a party celebrating their successful task.

After knowing Koki and Kame killed his friend with a clear knowledge that he was his friend, Ueda can feel his heart was brimming with hatred; he swears he’ll get his revenge. But as much as he hated Kame, death won’t satisfy him. He wants Kame to know how much he is hurting.

Ueda fires his gun so suddenly to Kame’s leg and he attacks as fast as lightning to kick Kame’s gun. Ueda grips Kame’s collar and pulls him up and beating him half dead. Ueda’s lost in hatred and the pain. Kame couldn’t even get the chance to fight back.

“I wonder what happened to you, Akanishi.” Koki clicks his tongue. “Before, you wouldn’t be this soft-hearted. In fact, you’re the most cold-blooded among us. Even father was worried that you won’t become ‘human’ anymore. That’s why father didn’t want you to be the leader, although you’re the perfect one.”

“If you ever love someone you’ll know why.”

Koki laughs hysterically, “And you said, all this because of love? You couldn’t shot your gun, because of love? You went to this extent to betray our father and save them because of love?”

“You’re the one who betrayed our father!” Nakamaru interjects. “Father never taught us to kill innocent people!” as he points his gun towards Koki.

Koki’s laugh doesn’t die instead he laughs harder. Even with a gun pointed at him, he doesn’t even budge. “You’re too naïve. If I didn’t accept those jobs, how can you get all the wealth? Millions for a task? We’re not a charity organization, we’re assassins, and we sell our skills for money!”

Jin thought maybe he could really trust Nakamaru that he really is on his side. He quickly thinks of a plan. It is a risky plan. Beside Koki, there are also the other Kisumai boys who are standing right behind Ryo. He could leave Koki to Nakamaru but to take down four armed guys with Ryo between them as hostages, it requires a lot of luck despite his perfect aiming skill.

Jin quickly reaches for his other gun from his back; he always carries that gun with him, now he really hopes that gun will help him; as he dashes forward and kicks Ryo on his chest. The chair falls down backward shocking the boys but Jin is determined. He shoots his guns towards two of the Kisumai boys, accurately hitting their body. Jin quickly launches an attack to one of the remaining with a hard kick and at the same time readies his gun again to shoot at the other guy.

Seeing Jin is attacking the Kisumai, Koki tries to fire his gun but is halted by Nakamaru firing his gun. It was aimed precisely at Koki’s hand and the gun is falling.

“YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!”

Koki doesn’t back down as he rushes an attack to kick down Nakamaru’s gun. They are fighting hard to win over the other. Nakamaru falls down after a hard blow to his stomach. Lucky for him, Koki’s gun is laying on the floor where he fell. Nakamaru reaches for the gun.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Nakamaru sees Koki aim a gun at him but he couldn’t do anything else as he is falling backward onto the ground.

Jin is shocked to see Nakamaru is hit. He swiftly changes his aim to Koki when Koki is aiming at him.

Bang!

Bang! Bang!

Jin was hit but Koki is groaning loudly as he falls down.

Taguchi and Yamapi are standing at the door with a few combat suited men behind them. Yamapi looks shocked, but he quickly recovers from the shock and rushes off to Jin’s side meanwhile Taguchi goes to untie Ryo’s hands and legs. The combat suited men arrests Koki.

“Jin!”

Jin is still strong enough to stand despite the bullet hit his stomach, he walks up to Nakamaru. Jin kneels down beside Nakamaru.

“J..Jin…”

“I…I’m sorry…”

Nakamaru reaches for Jin’s hand. Jin grabs Nakamaru’s hand tightly.

“Jin, I want…you to know…I am your friend…you are never alone…Ueda and I…we’re your brothers…”

His tears are falling down non-stop. He knows it but he learned that one truth too late and because of that he lost a good friend.

Yamapi pulls Jin into a hug. It must be hard for Jin but he promised to be by Jin’s side.

Everything’s over. The police have arrested Koki and Kame and the Kisumai boys. While Jin solemnly walks out the room supported by Yamapi, he stops in front of Ueda.

“I’m sorry…”

“He won’t regret it because you’re his brother. We have no one but we have each other.” Ueda pats Jin’s shoulder, “Take care. See you again.”

Jin watches as Ueda walks away.

-

“Actually, I have something to offer to both of you…” Taguchi says earning both of their attention.“I promise it is a clean slate. After everything is over, you guys can go scot-free.” Taguchi says with a sly smirk.

Nakamaru and Ueda look at each other and turn to Taguchi again.

“What are you talking about? I don’t understand,”Nakamaru asks a little frustrated.

“I’m an undercover cop. I’ve been assigned to take down this hitman organization and take down Koki for all the crimes he has committed. I’ve been working on this case for a while now and it’s finally coming close to an end but I need help.” Taguchi pauses to see what the guys’ reaction to his confession is. “I’m offering you a way out as well as a chance to take Koki down. You’ll get the chance to have a whole fresh start.”

The guys stare at each other for a second.

“So are you guys in?”

Nakamaru and Ueda nod in agreement.

“Okay, so here is the plan.” Taguchi starts explaining the plan to take down Koki and the organization before the three days given to Jin is up.

“What about the Kisumai?” Nakamaru asks, concerns about the other hitmen. Even though their plan is to take the organization down, but at least they should give a second chance to them too, that’s what he thinks.

Taguchi smiles to Nakamaru’s concern. “Don’t worry, should we confront them in an ambush, we will use special sedative bullets. They will lose consciousness immediately, but it won’t harm their lives. But if you have to shoot them, try not to hit their vital organs.”

“How about Jin? Shouldn’t we tell him about this plan?” Nakamaru asks again. This is his biggest concern after all, because they decided to betray the organization for Jin in the first place, although the intention to cut ties from the organization existed long ago.

“I doubt he would listen to what we have to say. With the conflict he has with Yamashita and the trust issue he has, I doubt he would believe us. Unless Yamashita himself talks to Jin, we can only hope he has no killing intention if he ever has to confront those Kisumai boys.”

Both Nakamaru and Ueda can’t argue Taguchi’s point. They have known Jin as long as they can remember, but Jin never really trusted them although they sincerely care about Jin.

They were acting according to the plan when they met Yamapi to tell the truth and discussing their next step, but everything went wrong when Ryo and Yamapi were caught.

However, the turning of events turns out to be a major advantage to infiltrate the base and catch Koki and Kame. Unfortunately they lost Nakamaru.

-

Ryo steps to Jin’s left side and flings an arm around Jin’s shoulder.

Jin turns to look at Ryo. “I’m sorry about the kick.”

“I was sure shocked but apology accepted! You have your reasons. I really have no idea you’re so cool!” Ryo grins.

Jin laughs lightly. “You’ll be shocked if you see what I’m capable of doing!”

“Che!”

The three of them laugh as they walk out to leave the place, but soon after they go to separate ways as the police take Ryo back as he is still under the police custody to ensure his safety. As long as the man hired the assassination still haven’t been caught Ryo’s life is still in danger. Meanwhile Yamapi accompanies Jin to the hospital to get his wound treated.

“Thanks…”

Yamapi turns to Jin not getting what the thank you is for.

“For not abandoning me and leaving me alone…”

“Jin!”

That night when Jin came to meet Ryo, he was intending to leave when he saw Tomohisa was there, what’s more when Tomohisa reaches for his gun, it really made him sad thinking Tomohisa didn’t believe him.

He was wrong though. Tomohisa came after him.

Jin didn’t dare to look into Tomohisa’s eyes, but Tomohisa came closer and tilted his chin to force him to look into his eyes.

At that time his police instincts made him reached for his gun, but when Jin walked away Tomohisa regretted it. He went after Jin.

“I’m sorry, I should be more understanding. I understand everything now, and what is important is for you to stay on the new path. I’ll always be with you.” Tomohisa stares into Jin’s eyes. He had to make sure his true feelings get across to Jin. He really meant what he said. He still doesn’t know how to deal the choice of accepting Jin as a killer even if Jin kills people for a good purpose when killing in general goes against his morals. But one thing that he is sure is he couldn’t let Jin sway back and forth on the new path he chose and lost his humanity once again.

Yamapi takes Jin’s hand and grips it tight.

It is unspoken, but they both know how much they mean to each other. The love they have for each other is beyond everything.

-

Based on Koki’s statement, the police got the information about the man who hired the assassination of J&A sons. The police have gone all out to search for the man who finally ended up being arrested while he was trying to get out of country and it was revealed that he hired the assassination because he had a grudge against the president of J&A and he doesn’t want J&A to proceed with the multi billion dollar project as it will threaten his business empire.

When Tomohisa tells him about the news, Ueda comes to tell him that he’ll go travel around the world. Ueda hugs him in a parting goodbye. “Treasure everything you have. Take care.”

Yamapi stares at Jin as Jin watches Ueda walk away.

Jin has a mixed feeling as he looks at Ueda’s retreating figure. All these while, he never realized, there’s always Nakamaru and Ueda by his side, always looking after him.

When Jin finally turns around again, he reaches out for Tomohisa and hugs him tightly. Tomohisa wraps his arms around Jin’s body. They stay like that for the longest time possible when finally Jin says, “I love you.”

Tomohisa tightens the hug as he replies, “I love you too.”
