rising to the top right before you fall again.
Hello?
what’s going on in your head dear?
Is the monster back?
You’re slipping away again.

You feel like you’re falling don’t you?
Everything is blurry isn’t it?
You’re in constant movement?
But you’re standing perfectly still.

Is the light still on?
Or are you lost in the shadows?
Can you hear me?
You’re hearing everything all at once.

Are you listening?
Can’t you think clearly anymore?
Why is your head always in the clouds?
But you can’t hear the voices that are important anymore.

Hello?
You have that urge don’t you?
You’re fists are clenching at the very thought?
You‘re taking a sharp deep breath and slowly exhale.

Are you fucking listening?
What the fuck is wrong with you?
Are you stupid or something?
Because it’s all you can do not to snap.

You’re going deeper in the hole aren’t you?
It’s getting darker?
You can’t see anything?
You’re completely numb.

Does it hurt again?
What is it this time?
The claws?
But you feel like your insides are being ripped to shreds.

Did you get to the ladder again?
You made it out?
You’re good now?
You’re trying to get to the peak of happiness.

Do you need a hand?
Are you still listening?
How long are you staying?
But you know it won’t last long.

Everything’s moving fast again?
You say it doesn’t stop?
Never rests?
You’re climbing faster with each breath.

Hey?
Isn’t that dangerous?
Where do you think you’re going?
But when you run out of steps, you plummet right back down to the bottom.

You don’t remember?
Why not?
Because it’s been too long?
You’re not the same person anymore.

Hello?
What’s going on in your head dear?
Is the monster back?
But you can’t remember who you used to be.
