A poem about a Grave robber.
Grave robber

I was sitting by the roadside,
I’d been visiting your grave.
Lots of people had passed by,
Seems no one saw the spade.

I had never met you,
You were a stranger to me.
I had never seen you,
Yet I sat by your grave.

I hitch-hiked on the bus,
Going the other way.
Smell of flowers on my coat,
I left them there to stay-
Where they thought you were.
But now you’re here with me.
I put the bag by my side,
To take the weight off my shoulders.

Summer time,
For a grave robber,
So much choice,
Don’t know where to turn to,

You're closer to me now,
There was an earth between us,
Now we are together,
As we sit on the bus,

Summer time,
For a grave robber,
Digging for treasure,
I finally found you,

I’m building my family,
With my wife first,
Start my life over,
From the back of a hearse,
I’m a grave robber,
I’m a grave robber
You’re with a grave robber,
I finally found you.
