Blessed

The day shines up above
As we walk along side by side.
I look at you and smile
As I gaily remember the days gone by.

Looking at the fields far away,
I take your hand and run
Laughing and smiling
As we cross this peaceful land.

The night has come and the day has gone..
The stars twinkle and shine
As the sun bids goodbye
And the moon comes to rise.

In the midst of my sleep I hear your voice
And I wake up to see thy grace and joy.
I look into your eyes and all I see
Is the love and care you have for me.

I kiss your lips and kiss your head
As I take your hand and onto my chest.
Now you are asleep and like a babe you may rest
As I thank God for my being blessed.. :)
