Eat a bite of life.
Subtle perceptions of saporous spice,
aromas that flavor life's meal.
Touched to the tongue, a fomenting device
gives body that governs our zeal.

A mere pinch of salt enhances the savor,
fulfilling the sensual need.
A temperate palate that dances with flavor
will not leave you bloated by greed

Unsated desire, such a dangerous thread,
to have what you will undenied.
So serve up a slice of our daily bread,
with butter and jam on the side.

Herein lies the morsel we all must digest,
which spice will we use for our meat?
Enjoying the dinner that we think is best.
After all - we are what we eat.
