my bf wrote me a love poem, so I wrote this back
Your heart once filled my cup, it gave such melodies


One sip of song and I, was sworn to calvary


Such soothing burn it gave, a temptress and her snake


Lies of truth it sang, tender and in vain


Taste by taste it drained, numb and black it sought


When cup was dead it breathed, death in life that strongly fought


Your heart once filled my cup, poison yet I drank,


A battle I believe, has boiled down to
