Snaps and Buttons and Pretty Things

Snaps and buttons and pretty things
Warm soft love completeness brings
Crystal tears now fill in opened eyes
Hardened man, now with no disguise

Seeing life all now new
All through my love for you
Yes, it’s all so sweet and fresh
I’m overwhelmed I do confess

Snaps and buttons and pretty things
Thoughts of futures and golden rings
Longing for the golden, silver grey
And the way we’ll be that fine day
