A poem about emotional baggage and regret
Unwanted Words



Words which have settled -heavy on my mind



like sacks of stones,or dis- jointed bones that survive the test of time.



A laugh - a broken kite that soars



only to re-fall



and land twisted broken in my chest - a puncture in my soul.



The stars are but



the burning past



unchangeable



and ever vast



to visualise it whole.
