A poem about the intangible thought which haunts my mind at night.
I am stuck in a void,

Where music brings no comfort,

My love brings only fear.



I am unable to ask questions,

For the answers are out of reach.



They are lost with those who shook

The foundations of my trust.



What is trust between those

Whose bond exceeds death?



It is the unspoken promise of

Faith.

Faith which you have broken.



Shattered memories and

Lies which I may never escape.

Lies which I force myself to

Live in, Hide behind.

As you have taught me nothing else...
