Themed poem on the world as it is today.
Dark clouds loom over a pristine sea
spreading disease and disharmony
screams fill the night time air
tears fall upon those of unspoken care

Seas thrash against the shore
begging people, please no more
when all else is said and done
we shall be the lonely ones

when all life is lost
and the air is thin
what is the total cost
to give and never win

when eagles no longer fill the sky
and beavers no longer build their dam
when deer falter and die
when lions no longer roar with pride

When the ground is littered with blood and death
When our last hope is to never rest
will their DNA ever be enough
to grant us a second chance above

When all their lifes within a dream
littered across LCD screens
and blue birds fill museum walls
next to the great dinosaurs of old

when houses rise above the ground
and cars move with powdered cells
due to life below being discorded and drowned
will we then know the sake of ours toys

When earth is at it's last spin
When all memory begins to wither and fade
When no one wants to give in
Then will we truthfully be okay
