All of my writing tends to be metaphorical with a twist of love.
A Love Like Crimson; Everything I Never Wanted

Tucked deep down inside the lines of corduroy,
Locked up in a pocket.
A cream colored button tucked ever so tightly.
Tucked away to forget the world outside,
Where the sun shines upon the people,
These people that walk the streets,
Soaking up the nutrients.
The streets that bear the trees,
And these trees which live and breathe the air we need.
“I want to see the world” she said.
Another time another place,
Where things were vivid and people existed.
A life outside these lines of corduroy, and brown and beige.

The basement
It’s in the basement baby
Where secrets kept come alive
Nightmares haunted ever wake

Come show your face to me my love,
Come show it in this faint white light.
The light that soon burns out to a crisp,
Leaving lovers stalled in a twist of genocide.
I’ll kill all of your egos if only you let me.
I’ll make your demons roar as loud as any lion could.
But this is not your battle to be won,
In an institution which holds two, and one is not myself.
A battle you have come to fight now only amongst yourself.
“Show me what you got” She said. “And I’ll show you everything you could have,
if only you were what I wanted.”
