written in high school
Knowing what I've done, wanting to make it better
Realizing that words can not demonstrate this in a letter,
All the pain I've put us through
Knowing how much in love I am with you,
When I realize what the cost may be
That you could be lost to me;

All I can think of is holding your hand
Hoping that you will understand,
How much you mean to me, it is so hard to believe
That while I sit here thinking of you
Why does all this love come breaking through,
Is this the gift that I have received?
The day we met
I shall never forget,
In this classroom I  knew,
I wanted to be close to you;

How deep my feelings would go
No one but you would ever know,
The love we shared
How much I cared,
Will this love have a cost
If in the end it is you I have lost?
It hurts to know that your so faraway
If I could reach out and touch you to ask you to stay;

This love that is forbidden
Fought for in vain,
Just was not meant to be
Yet here I remain,
For when you say you love me, as I believe you do
It will eventually tear us apart,
Our forbidden love in this school.
