Our mind is nothing but a babushka doll (poem)
He sheds a tear for the overwhelming fear,
That his thoughts are driven by sub-atomic gears.
He subjects his ideas, his passions and dreams,
To a blanketing belief in mercurial memes.
Deterministic soldiers of their fate,
Their ennui anchors the heart rate.
With my head in the sand,
And an outstretched hand,
I catch all the creatures falling into reduction!

Scorn the sunset, scorn the daffodil,
Scorn the poets with their spluttering quill.
Bowing out to the inflexible will,
Like a fierce, fallacious contraceptive pill.
Define yourself through the phrases of a corpse,
And strap yourself in for the time warp.
With a clove cigarette,
And a butterfly net,
I catch all the creatures falling into reduction!

He says ‘love is fruit of a chemical imbalance',
And that 'people of faith are messianically challenged.’
He nooses the rope as he loses his rope,
And stands in tandem of a noxious misanthrope.
Fatalistic despondency devours.
As he sits and he stares at the wall flower.
With a vile of shampoo,
And a lengthy lasso,
I catch all the creatures falling into reduction!

Plant the seed and watch your victim writhe,
And tighten your grip on the glistening scythe.
If people are playthings then rip off their wings,
And watch them twitch like a boxer in the ring.
Your circular circus of Herculaen purpose,
Will purge and desert you in percolated service.
Clutching the cross,
And a cardboard box,
I catch all the creatures falling into reduction!

Bow and bend to influential trends,
And view your friends through an existential lens.
Spit in his eye til your mouth starts to dry,
If he takes your opinion and blows it to the sky!
Drunk with assertion and dizzy with conviction,
Affix yourself to the friction.
With a switching god,
And a fishing rod,
I catch all the creatures falling into reduction!
