I obsessed, while gorging memories by the spoon.
I obsessed, while gorging memories by the spoon. Utterly disgusted with the foul taste I swallowed, I suger coated all I could muster. Choking on unsaid sentences followed by unending conversations that could have been, I kept my struggles silent. An acquaintance becoming a shoulder, we leaned for balance. I grasped my left hand in my right, rubbing them for warmth. I'd become cold, and shivered at how my mind ran through varius, wild fantacies. Suddenly thinking, as I browsed my friends, I realized how far my acquaintance had traveled up the ladder. Now being a friend, he smiled at me and I felt relief. I finally understood that some strengths should not be beaten. I could feel our strength growing stronger by every cold, bitter day. Now those days ended a little brighter, and I couldn't help but ignore the foul taste still lingering on my tongue.
