From my album: A Tribute to Death
Pierced With Sorrow

I once was just fine,
Not a care, nothing to define,
I was never full of sadness,
But always filled with gladness.

But then something happened to me,
That changed me for eternity.
She had drowned,
And I had found,
I could not take the sorrow.

Although this horrible tradgedy,
Had happened, I found the audacity,
To go on thick and through
Even though it pains me to think of you.

Often enough I hear your voice,
And when I hear it, I rejoice.
The quiet sound,
It sounds like ice
Although it will never suffice..
Suffice what I had

But one day, I will again be glad,
When we meet, my friend..
