A poetry of learning to move on from the past wrongs and still love someone
Damien Is Forgiven

For one so lost you know the cost and if it's worth it you will walk the road that few rarley go. From last summer to this winter there has been no difference in the temperature. No change of the ice covered grass or the marks of frost in the early morning. A friend once said that I should tell the truth, even if it hurts. I shouldn't deserve such kind words when in the end all I did was pretend that what had happened never did. Like the memory of a scar would not leave it's mark, if no one knew or ever asked. Still it lasts to this day but Gold only knows I did it to save someone's second chance. I forgot hate and that of vengence and used what I have learnt over the years and it is called forgivness. Not for the damage that is done but for the one who has the potential to change. If forgiven maybe they will start living, maybe the cost of your loss is worth the price if it saves more than one life. I do not regret what I have said because some things are meant to lie dead in the grave from where they have came. All the same, there are still the brusies of yesterday and I never forgot them. That is more than forgivness, that is love to go back again and again until the very end.
