THE GREAT WANTER

A strong man is
Full of love
He loves
He's not shy to cry
When it's needed

A Strong man is
A giver of plenty
He gives
What he has
Even when he needs

A strong man is
A hard worker
He works
Outdoors in all weather
Fingers frozen to his cheeks
The color of fire on his back

A strong man is
A person who suffers
He suffers
From clogged pipes
Surgery after surgery
Still he gets up
To support the ones he loves

A strong man is
A person who copes
He copes
With sharp pains
Every minute of the day
Shingles shape his shoulder

A strong man is
A great wanter
Of life
A great giver
Of help
A great giver
Of love

A strong man is
A father
Of a daughter
Who loves him
Strongly
