a sliver of lemon
peeks through
a veil of nomadic cirrus
hinting at
water cascading
o’er a billowy cotton ball
suddenly

tuffs of shimmering silver
emerge
from a dazzling
crystalline sky
presto
dissolve into
a sea
of milky foam
