This is a poem I wrote about my Papa before he passed away, in my grandma's eyes.
Please Come Home

Stay awake a little longer,
Let your heart grow stronger;
Run from the beautiful light,
Please win this horrible fight.

Hold my hand tight,
Stay awake just one more night;
I have faith in you,
Please don’t let this death become true.

I can’t live without you by my side,
Keep away from Death’s ride;
Listen to my voice and stay awake,
Please don’t leave me with another heart ache.

Keep your eyes wide,
Walk out of here with a living stride;
I will not leave this place alone,
Please just come back home.
