A poem about how love changes over time.
In the Spring of Love:

You feel excited with love growing in your heart

You want to nurture your fledgling love affair

Hoping that your new love will stay forever

And they will always want to be near.

In the Summer of Love:

You start to feel the heat of passion

Hot, blazing nights filled with love and desire

Hoping your lover will feel the same about you

For the rest of your lives and never turn sour.

In the Autumn of Love:

Like the leaves that start to fall from a tree

You can feel that your love has started dying

Even though you've tried so hard

You can't stop yourself from crying.

In the Winter of Love:

You feel the cold of loneliness

As an icy chill blows upon your heart

But Spring is just around the corner

Soon, a new Love will grow within your heart.
