A meditative poem that tries to be a little more experimental.
Bittersweet words in sorrow-filled victory,

At the curtain closing of paths unclear,

Must be spoken to friend-foes,

As the reassured knows penniless fear.

What words, worthy of oaken wisdom,

Can from muddy mire urge pure,

To sound silent the death knell,

And press pray-tell of cure.

Words chosen of razor-cold crystal,

Fail faithless on lips there-spoken,

Wandering wild within molten mind,

Admit blind eyes were re-broken.

Justice frozen in point-finger fury,

As rifles level to broken-bared breast,

Aimed to tighten-tap the heart prenatal,

Forlorn fatal dagger embraces the chest.

Waves crest and crash upon the rocks,

As the dying light bids shadows to soar,

All grains of sand break free to drift,

Lost in water swift, homebound nevermore.
