A life outside life and death. Numb with a heart and a vision.
Life is a dream in which you'll awake, only to find find yourself dreaming again.
The dream is quite vivid, you know 'cause you live it, and it's all about the arcane.
Life is a book with no name, a riddle to begin and nowhere to go in the end.
The riddle is quite clear but the last page is left blank
and you realize it is all pretend.

You plead "say it ain't so," but you know it's as though you're just a ship in a bottle.
All hands are on deck, you're the captain of this wreck and will forever be hailed as the ace of spades.
Though you feel like the joker in a simple play of poker, you're always left out'a the game.
In this game there is only one king and the rest are all pawns, you use them all up until they're all gone
and their faces begin to fade.

You feel your mind come off the tracks and slip through the cracks, where the entire world sits on its pedestal.
The entire world is still, all the while it turns and it spins on the eternal cracks of abyss.
The cracks are a girth in which you are given your birth,
at least that is until
it is time to awaken from this dream you are dreaming amiss.
