Just my latest piece of work, about War, not much to say other than the poem its self.
Title: War

I sit out in the sun, and try to have some fun,
for I can feel it coming, these peaceful days will soon be done.

We march through other countries, and try to change their ways,
trying to let the innocent, weak, and helpless, have their better days.

But why must we fight, causing so much tragic death?
Can't we change the world without taking someone's last breath?

Nuclear bombs, and robotic planes, the art of war has certainly changed.
The world has become so fucking strange; our next generations will surely be deranged.

People killing in the name of religion, and rights to holy land,
can we not let things fall into place by God's all mighty hand?

Each day countless souls are lost, so cold and dark you can feel the frost,
what will be our actions' cost?

Why must there be so much hate?
All this flowing anger won’t open up heaven's gate.
We need to take a long deep breath and set our lives straight;
because once our lives are over repenting will be too late.

Title: War (Part 2)

Yet I've seen the other sides, and I've heard their hateful words,
wanting nothing more than to kill us by the herds.

I've seen the true hatred in their eye,
gathering in the street chanting "Die America, Die!"

They stone the emos, and hang the gays,
and decapitate those who believe in different ways.

Get ready, now, it's coming quick,
so much bloodshed it will make you sick.
What will you do? It’s time to pick.
The worlds burning up like a bomb's short wick.

Are you going to keep youre head in the sand?
Or wake up and try to take a stand,
and  join our fellow heroes in high demand?

You don't have to join the military, like pawns on the battlefield,
But the fate of you’re friends and family is what you will surely wield.

The enemy is getting strong,
they will invade, it wont take long,
If you think there’s an easy way out, then I'm here to say you're wrong.

Yet we should only stand and fight to defend,
for some of them have the hearts of a true and honest friend.
There’s got to be a way to let our wicked past mend.
Are we really going to fight until the world is at its end?
