Written after a bad relationship
Spider, spin your web
set your trap and wait
innocence is easy to catch
keeping it is your game.

you seek out those like her
the one you can't call mother
you find one sweet and loving
spin your web around it

Charming, so very cunning are you.

Does it make the innocent
one wrong for falling
into your trap,
wrong for falling into you.

She needed something
she thought she had found.
You found what you were looking for,
though you don't call her mother.

Charming, so very cunning are you

The spider picks at his prey day by day
each day she only becomes weaker.
Blood runs cold, body grows numb
to something she thought
a dream.

Nightmares
have a way of not showing themselves
until its to late to wake.
She sleeps in her nightmare
hoping to find her way
of escape.

Not so charming, but very cunning are you.

Spiders have no mercy for there prey
they suck them dry
until they're dead
waiting only to ensnare another
within its charming web.
