I'm working on a writing promt which is to choose a fairy tale and reimagine it.
I know this story has been done a millions of times before but I thought I would have a go.

Things on my mind
• Wouldn’t she get bored in a tower all the alone
• I’m going to give her magical hair
• Incorporating more medieval aspects e.g. clothing
• Chores?? not a whole lot to do if she is stuck in a tower.
• orgin story

Currently still working on the outline. Im having diffculting moving away from the trational streo stypes.
I want to make the characters more like actual people. I started on this writing ptompt because I'm kind of annoyed with the fairy tales always showing women as being helpless waiting around for their happy endings.

Disney did a modern verision in called tangled. It wasn't a bad childrens movie but still took intervention even though the main character was perfectly able to escape herself. But I liked her having magical hair which she can use to climb. so im going to include this in the story.

Rapunzel- in the grims version she given away to a witch as payment for the herb in the garden. definetly an interesting orgin story.
