What broken houses may bring...
Watch the child run and play, see the smile on her face. Tears that fall from silent eyes. Cries that echo in the night. See the house as it burns. A lonely place where the fire churns. Beneath the rubble was a home. Broken and cold, but never alone. Filled with secrets that kept her bound. Tied her hands to the ground.
Killed the soul that longed to fly. Watch her now as she walks, silent footsteps that echo naught. There is something hidden deep. Within the soul that still does weep. As she walks through her life. A smile plays in the candle light. Vengeance seers in her blood. Singing songs that cannot be unsung. Watch her smile twisted and sick. Watch the light play on this. Open the scene with blood that sheds. Something so cruel that cannot be said. See the flesh that touches the ground, see that the wings are no where to be found.
