Did you ever pick flowers for your mother when you were young?

*FlowerY* *FlowerY* *FlowerY* *FlowerY*
Flying through the door flowers cupped in hand,
eyes bright as the noontime sun,
wind whipped hair,
and
grass has left its mark on tiny knees.

*FlowerY* *FlowerY*
All to present the precious gift to Mom
Flowers – though just the pretty parts
not one has a stem.
Dandy – little – lions
only the biggest ones
were right for Mom’s Great Gift!

*FlowerY* *FlowerY*
Wasn’t Mother’s Day, just a day like any other,

*FlowerY* *FlowerY*
IT was a Day that
Mom deserved some
Bea-U-TIFUL flowers!

*FlowerY* *FlowerY* *FlowerY*
