How will you survive the apocalypse?

You are in a zombie infested world alone how will you survive? Will you work on your own? Save other survivors? Or study the zombies? Any and all possibilities are possible.

When ADDING to the story make it age appropriate
If you kill off your character create another character and keep going don't let it end
The zombies are brainless except for the leader he is unstoppable but can be slowed
When creating the location for your story it can be anywhere fictional or real
*EDIT* animals are immune to the virus
