A short drabble created outta boredom and uh ..
"Lay down ... It's too early,"

The boy mumbled from underneath the green sheet as his hands blindly searched for the same warmth he was embracing less than few hours ago. He groaned and forced his eyes to open when he couldn't find what he was seeking. His head peeked out from the sheet as his blurry eyes captured the figure of the red head putting on her black hoodie and about to grab her guitar case. The boy sighed loudly as he climbed down the bed and pulled the red head back into his embrace from behind. Her apple scented body wash filled his nostrils as he breath in deeper, as if he's going to let her go forever. Ironic that somehow lately he felt like the girl he was in love with was slowly slipping away from his touch.

"Don't go, yet ... It's too early,"

The red headed girl leaned into the embrace and huffed. Secretly, she wanted to do whatever her boyfriend was begging her to do. The reminder inside her head kept on blaring, pointing out the lists of songs she needed to finish or else the disappointment would be back creeping from beneath her feet and also from the stares of expecting people inside the building she's currently working on. Not to mention another thousand of people who were patiently waiting for the tunes to hang again in the air through the huge speakers. With a heavy heart, she released herself from the warm embrace into the cold morning air which was passing through the small space in the windowsill.

"It's too early ...."

The boy pleaded weakly as his hurting expression broke into the surface. The girl bowed her head in shame because she had to choose strangers over her personal teddy bear who took her away from her nightmare.

"I'll try to come back early tonight ..."

Another kiss, another hug, another step ... the boy bit his lower lip as he watched his girl close their door shut and left him again until after midnight ... that's if he's lucky.
