Huge yellow moon inspires for the beginning of harvest season.
The darkness creeps in slowly,
Soft black velvet fills the night.
Slowly, slowly a brilliant orange glow
Fills the autumn night.

Standing at the road's edge,
I watch the brilliance grow
As the fiery harvest moon
Begins its autumn show.

Centered over the road
That tops the nearby hill,
The autumn moon in its brilliance
Fills the autumn sky
With its shimmering orange glow.
