Life Changes

Chapter 3

" OK," I stuttered, letting the tipsey lad drag me out into the cold corridoor. It was a wonder we didn't wake anyone up as we careered down the hallway to a rather sparkly door. The lad banged on the door with his fist, took a swig out of his cheap beer bottle and horasly shouted,
"Oi! Clarissa! Cum and fit this new kiddy out with some sexy gear!" The guy was about to shout and hammer on the door again when the door opened and a sweet looking girl-must have been 19 perhaps?- poked her head around the door.
Seeing my naked form, a sly grin formed on her lips and she held the door open for us.
"Nasty bit of morning wood you've got there sweetie." She chirped as I was shoved past her by the boys.
"Yeah, lots of people have been telling me that." I muttered, a little embarrassed.
She grinned and shut the door. Her room was decorated in lots of different colours; fabrics were pinned to the walls and lots of sewing equipment was strewn across surfaces and parts of the floor.
"You stand in that circle there and I'll get your measurements. Then I can set about making some fabulous clothes that will fit that hot body of yours!" She exclaimed as she disappeared behind a partitioning and and came back holding a tape measure, notepad and pen. I was dubious at letting Clarissa touch my new body but I went and stood in the middle of the circle anyway. I would end up with some nice clothes that would fit me, I thought, instead of running around begging or stealing the clothes from washing lines.
A few hours passed as Clarissa took her measurements and wrote them down, then she left and busied herself looking at fabrics and muttering to herself. I was still standing there in the circle when Clarissa looked around and saw me.
" Oh! You don't have to stand there like that you twat! Sit over there but don't knock anything around you hear? I know what you boys are like." She told me before turning around and muttering to herself again.
I sat in the sofa gingerly that Clarissa pointed out to me, being careful not to disturb any material on there, and looked around the girl's room.
You could hardly see the faded, mint green wallpaper behind the drapes of different coloured matierals; glittery golds wafted in a small breeze that flowed through the window. A small bed was positioned next to a large vanity table overflowing with all sorts of sewing equipment; a sewing machine, threads of multiple colours and thicknesses and a whole array of sewing cloths and materials. Cascades of stick-on stars, jars of glitter and stick-on jewels were dotted around on the floor. A bamboo partitioning with some swirls and floral patterns took up one corner of the room.
Wafts of alcohol were caught in the early morning breeze and I looked to see the drunken boys that dragged me here swaying by the door looking dreamily at Clarissa. My gaze jumped between them before I sighed and nervously broke the silence saying, " So Clarissa...Do you know how long the clothes are going to take? 'Cuz I son't want to sit in your room nude all day. No offense."
Clarissa laughed. " None taken sweetie. I can work out a rough outfit for you to wear in a few hours, nothing good but it'll cover you up. Then you can leave me alone and not pester me and I can get a good, quality outfit done for you in, let's say, a day. That sound like a plan?"
I was a bit miffed at the 'pestering' part, but I dismissed it and nodded, a smile forming on my lips.
