Why my mother is this much cruel .why she dont want me to be happy marriage life ?
[Introduction]
Why don't you remember my date of birth, mother. Please open your hi-tech computer's dustbin icon and please wipe out one by one days of your life to reach my birth date. Praising her all the while, I asked her to wake early in the morning to reach my grand place.Early morning, my mother told me she is getting intuitions today might be my birthday. I kissed her and hugged her. I kissed my mother first time in my life that day.
We managed to book local taxi to reach my grand place. The taxi left us near a river bank. The driver told us that the river has filled, so we were going to have to have swim to reach other end. I looked at the river. It was gushing around aggressively. The sound of her gushing water had tuned to horror music. I looked at a tribal man who had jumped into the river and had started swimming. I asked him to help us cross and he replied one has to swim across it. I jumped soon and tried short term swimming and he pulled me up at the other bank.
I saw my mother still sitting on a rock on the opposite side. I swam back hesitantly and pulled her. She was horrified and started shouting, is this a way you are suppose to treat people? And that to just to find out your birth date? I thought this lesson is enough for her for not remembering birth date of her own child. We came to the other end, half swimming- half drowning.
That was a pleasant evening. The sun was throwing shades of yellow light mixed with orange. My mother's face was looking a shade of red and orange, and was murmuring-- "I have wasted my time on this lady, I am supposed to feed my grandson. How hopeless this daughter is. After trying to marry twice, she is still interested in some imaginary man. This is happening for the first time in our cast. She is the mother of three children and she should die instead of trying to get married for the third time.
Suddenly she stopped murmuring and asked me to make a promise. Promise that I should have not made. I made a great mistake by making the promise to my mother, I sold myself to her wish. I killed my dream over my birth river. The dream that I had dreamed throughout my life had drowned in my birth river. Is that why I am supposed to be here? I should go back to my house. The house that I had purchased. The house where my children and me played. The house whose windows are always open for new dreams and from where angels come to visit us.
The dream of my life was flooded in that river so what's the use of finding out my birth date? I looked at her she was ready to get up. She told me that we will return back as early as possible. We don't have to meet our forefathers regarding my birth date, as they will feel ashamed at knowing that there daughter is a divorcee and that it will be a great insult on her motherhood.
I had already lost interest in knowing my birth date and, agreeing to her recommendation, I got up. I looked at the river. After engulfing my sweet dream, her water level had almost reached down and we crossed the river barefoot. I was feeling like I am the most unlucky woman who is just surviving like a robot. River was in its lowest level of water. That dark evening started to shift to a luminous and starry night. The moon risen from the river looks so romantic. I told myself no romance for you, you are born over this river and you have killed your dream of romance in this river.
I was not knowing this day is going to change my life. I was unaware that this was the same day on which I had born.....
Keep reading to know how did i got to know the date of my birth and when.
