Through the dawn...
Alleyway Litter

He walks down the streets calling her name,

He found fortune, she found fame,

And yet he waits, still hesitating,

Holding his breath, caught and debating,

For his chance to make her real,

His spinning clay upon the wheel,

She was like water, always flowing,

Never knew where she was going,

Will she find him, will he find her?

“I haven’t seen her, sorry sir.”

So he kept walking,

On and on,

Through the night and through the dawn.
