This was a poem I wrote when I couldnt sleep.
As I inhale death , I look up at the sky,

I ask not but a reason why.

Why does the sky tempt me so?

As a train wreck or an old foe.

The sky is anything but,

but the vision of life that was surely shut.

Maybe one day I will be inhaling peace,

looking down at earth with a feeling of release.

Watching wondering eyes look up at the sky,

asking why I tempt them so,

like a train wreck or an old foe.

I will look down upon them with grace,

answering,

I am not a foe nor a life that was simply shut.

For you will know one day you wondering eyes,

when the time comes for your demise.
