Sitting under a full moon, pondering what is, and what once was.
                   "One Adirondack Chair"

One Adirondack chair, glass of wine, a full moon waiting
For memories of you. Tonight is haunted and alluring.
Scattered stars, seems as many years numbered gone past.
Fireflies just begun their evening dance, at last.

Tiny illusive lanterns glow; inspire this gypsy's cryptic messages
Of when I was young, intimate, and impetuous.
More wine, a full moon, and one Adirondack chair;
Restless moments pondering of you no longer there.

Lunar dreams ripple through these silver tresses
Of mischievous, fickle, and innocent eagerness
That vanished in a web of chaos and confusion.
Spider trickster stitched a life tapestry of maddening emotion.

A full moon, one Adirondack chair, an empty glass of wine,
Reflecting; once there were fleeting thoughts that you were mine.
