A second inststallment to my tratment after shoulder joint replacement surgury
The sun is shining, the grass is green
Cheerful noises heard and children seen
Kites are flying, picnics are spread
“Lunch is ready,” someone said

Birds are singing on the limb of a tree
Flowers are blooming, visited by a bee
Frisbees spin and baseballs are thrown
A little girl chases bubbles that were blown

Lying on a blanket made of wool
The sky is blue, white clouds are full
Hikers with packs are off on a mission
A peaceful, calm, bucolic vision

Your eyes are closed, drifting off like a dream
Could it be nicer, possible, it doesn’t seem
Then storm clouds come, it begins to pour
Rudely awake, you hear, ”hold it, three more”
