A poem about the fireflies in my yard.
Sitting in darkness,
Black as ink,
Suddenly I saw,
Blink! Blink! Blink!
Out by the fence,
More by the tree,
Flashes of light,
All over to see.
Fireflies dancing,
Seeking out mates,
My yard is a mecca,
For firefly dates!
