Most honest piece of writing
I want to feel it again, the energy of it leaving my chest and throwing my body back
It fills the air and carries me with it, entwining its light through my fingers like a lover, making my skin glow
I want to feel it again, what pulls the Earth and gives me a voice, pulls the blood through my veins because I can’t do it myself.
I want to feel whole again, that missing piece that’s been torn from my skin, leaving a bleeding sink hole, pulling everything dirty and ugly in the world to my core
I hate this limbo. Was never warned; lured like a child’s missing puppy, the devil in the neighbor’s basement
I never asked for this, didn’t see this in the stars or read it on my palm. I never wanted this addiction and now its apart of me, the snakes that are my hair
I need to feel you again
