Poem/lyrics
I am overwhelmed by my own thoughts
Too busy trying to be a man in whom one can confide
A ringing in my head like fired shots
Keeps me from defining my beliefs inside

So much to contemplate and nowhere to begin
I can’t prioritize that which I do not understand
Do I believe in karma or sin?
I strive for a different concept; something grand

Any conviction I have is few and far between
So hesitant to display any certainty
All I can say is I know is what I’ve seen
Worried such reservation has fractured my reality

Then again reality means nothing when everything is relative
How can we define what matters
How do we know how to live
When can I stop climbing these ever reaching ladders?

That haunt my thoughts

Bring me peace, bring me simplicity
Bring me balance; bring me a sense of identity
