A small limerick for the poem a day competition. (prompt 3) Monday 16th July.
The burning orb that descends for the night
Beneath the horizon, for now out of sight
The sun will retreat for the glow of the moon
But don't fret my dear one we'll see it again soon
Gone is our lifeline of light.
